The Testing Process
Q. How long does the test take?
Each test takes from 15-40 minutes to complete. If you have purchased a testing package with more than one test, it may take you up to 1.5 hours to complete all of your assessments. You do not have to complete the assessments in one sitting; you can stop and save your answers at any time.
Q. How do I get my results?
After you have completed your test on the testing site, your consultant will process your report and e-mail your results to you in a PDF format.
Q. I've already made a purchase, but now I'm confused about which test to take.
The testing site lists all of the tests we sell. You will only need to complete those that you have purchased. Please refer to the email receipt you received after completing your purchase. The Product Name/ID will contain the names of the tests you should complete.
Q. How long does it take to get my results after taking the test?
In most cases we are able to issue you your report within 1-4 hours of your completing the assessment. Occasionally it may take up to 12 hours. If you have not received your report within 12 hours of taking your test please email us.
Q. I have taken my assessment and not received my report. What should I do?
Often, our reports get stuck in your spam filter. Please check your spam mailbox to see if your report is there. If it's not, please email us and we will work to resolve the issue ASAP. Also, we often have trouble sending reports to Hotmail addresses. If possible, please provide us with an email address to contact you that is not from a Hotmail account.

Products
Q. Do you offer the official MBTI®?
Yes, all of our Myers-Briggs reports are based on the official, scientifically validated Myers Briggs Type Indicator® assessment published by CPP, Inc. This assessment is available in an online format that allows us to administer it to clients all over the world.
Q. What is best-fit or verified Myers-Briggs type?
The MBTI® assessment itself is about 90% accurate in correctly determining each personality preference, which leaves a significant margin of error in assessing the correct four-letter personality type. The type that appears in your results is called the Reported Type; however this may be different from the type description that actually fits you best (known as the best-fit type or Verified Type). For this reason, the assessment is designed to be used in conjunction with a verification session with a qualified consultant. PersonalityDesk provides an interpretation session with every MBTI® assessment, during which your consultant will review your Myers-Briggs type as reported by your assessment and discuss alternate type designations as appropriate. If your Verified Type or best-fit type is determined to be different from your Reported Type, your consultant will provide you with additional information on your Verified Type.
Q. What is the Strong Interest Inventory?
The Strong Interest Inventory is a career interests assessment that has been in use and continuous development for over 70 years. It is the most widely used career interests assessment in the world. The Strong Inventory is based on six occupational theme codes (originally known as the Holland occupational codes) sometimes known as RIASEC (an acronym which stands for the six occupational themes: Realistic, Investigative, Artistic, Social, Enterprising, and Conventional). The Strong measures interest in each of these six theme areas, as well as in 30 Basic Interest Scales (including Computer Hardware and Electronics, Military, Teaching and Education, Marketing and Advertising, and Law). Additionally, the Strong provides specific career interest rankings based on research done with a sample group of successful, satisfied professionals. This sample group completed the assessment during its development, and their responses are used in the scoring of each assessment. When your Strong assessment is scored, your responses to the test questions are compared to the responses given by the professionals in the sample group, to provide an accurate ranking of your interest in hundreds of careers.
